The Language and Dialogue Technologies (LanD) group at Fondazione Bruno Kessler works on Natural Language Processing applied to dialogue in several areas of human activity.
Our current focus is AI for social good, in particular the development of AI technologies to support counter narrative generation to fight online hate speech and fake news. We are interested in the pragmatic aspects of language and Natural Language Generation, technologies for sentiment analysis and persuasive communication among others.
The group is part of the Augmented Intelligence Center.
